At Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center, we believe that every student deserves an arts education.
For this reason, we make need-based financial assistance available to our students by the following methods:
Merit Scholarships — Mind-Builders is proud to offer merit-based scholarships to dance and music students who demonstrate a keen aptitude and rigor in their creative studies. Scholarships are limited and are available by nomination and/or auditions only. Auditions are typically held during the late spring and early fall months for the oncoming fall/spring season participants.
- Dance Merit Scholarships: The Dance Merit Scholarship program is open to the most dedicated dance students between ages 10-18. It is a wonderful opportunity for all dance students with a serious interest and commitment to dance. The program offers tuition waivers for required dance classes and tuition and registration discounts for a selection of optional dance courses. As part of their training agreement, dance merit scholars commit to rigorous training in at least three dance disciplines, participating in community service at Mind-Builders designed to deepen learning and skills-building, and performing opportunities throughout the year.
- Music Merit Scholarships: The Music Merit Scholarship program is open to the most dedicated music students between the ages 11 – 18. Open by nomination or audition only, music scholars receive tuition and registration waivers for one private music class each season in their instrument of focus and are required to enroll in the department’s music theory classes to further their technical training in music. Select students are also accepted to join the award-winning Mind-Builders' Stage Band ensemble and class providing performing opportunities year-round.
