Financial Aid & Scholarships

The Arts Are For Everyone

At Mind-Builders, we believe cost should not be a barrier to participation. Giving everyone the opportunity to participate in the arts ensures we fulfill our mission to inspire growth of youth, families and the community through quality arts and education programs. 

Mind-Builders offers: 

  • Tuition Assistance based upon financial need 
  • Merit Scholarships in music and dance, by audition 
  • Work Exchange  
  • Flexible payment arrangements 

TUITION ASSISTANCE

Tuition Assistance deadlines are rolling through January 9, 2027. Applications will be reviewed monthly after every 15th of the month from August through January, and until funds are exhausted. Be sure to submit your application on or before the 15th of the month to be considered for the following month.

How to Apply 

  1. Complete your/your child(ren) program registration. 
  2. Submit the Tuition Assistance financial aid application form.
  3. Provide requested documentation. 

Applications are reviewed confidentially by a committee of Mind-Builders team members to ensure equity. Only completed applications will be considered for review. Submission of an application does not guarantee tuition assistance.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

Limited merit-based scholarships are available to dedicated Dance and Music students by nomination or audition. Auditions are typically held in late spring and early fall. 
 
Dance Merit Scholarships (Ages 10 – 18) 
Tuition support for highly committed dance students who train in multiple disciplines, participate in service activities and perform throughout the year. 

Music Merit Scholarships (Ages 11 – 18) 
Tuition support for serious music students, including one private lesson per session and required music theory. Select scholars may join Stage Band for performance opportunities.

Music merit jazz scholarships are made possible in part by the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation, Inc.

WORK EXCHANGE

Adults may volunteer weekly in exchange for one free class (for themselves or a child). Selection occurs through an interview process. (Only available during the Fall-Spring session).
