Registration for fall 2020 Virtual Season is ongoing from September 1st - Dec 1st, 2020.  Annual Registration Fee is waived.

To Register On-Line: Click HERE and follow the prompts to create an account, enroll students in classes, and make payments. If you have any questions or need assistance, call the office (718-652-6256) during business hours.

Class Fees And Tuition Information

Financial Aid Is Available for Tuition Based Classes


Dance

Full-year classes begin in October and end in May with a recital. Registration begins the previous June, and continues until January if space is available in the class. Students are grouped according to age for younger dance classes. Students ages 11+ are grouped according to ability. 

Music

Private music lessons begin in October and end in May with a recital. Registration begins the previous June, and continues through the school year if space is available in the teacher’s schedule.

Group music lessons begin in October and end in May with a recital. Students are placed in groups according to age and ability. Registration begins the previous June and continues until January, if space is available in an appropriate group.

Martial Arts

Full-year classes begin in October and end in May with a presentation and ceremony. Registration begins the previous June, and continues until January if space is available in the class. Students are grouped according to age and ability.

Theater ― Positive Youth Troupe

Recruitment for participants ages 14-20 begins in the fall. Students submit a completed application and attend an audition. Selected applicants attend workshops twice weekly throughout the school year. Applications will be available in September. This is a FREE program. 

Dr. Beverly J. Robinson Community Folk Culture Program 

Recruitment for interns ages 14-20 begins in May of each year. Students must submit a completed application and are then invited for an interview. Selected applicants attend an intensive summer workshop program during July and early August. Workshops continue throughout the school year. This is a FREE program.

Arts Passage Xpress 

Mind-Builders "Arts Passage XPress Project" provides individual coaching and small group workshop training for youth ages 12 - 18 in visual arts, dance choreography, and hip-hop theatre/spoken word. This is a FREE program.
