Are you passionate and skilled dancer ready to take the stage? Mind-Builders Dance Ensemble is auditioning for new members!

The Mind-Builders Dance Ensemble was created for the motivated dancer interested in honing their performance and technical dance skills. The Dance Ensemble meets weekly for rehearsal and performs regularly at community events throughout the year, representing Mind-Builders.

Eligibility:
Ages 12–17 with a minimum of 2 years of dance training. Open to new and returning students. All auditioners MUST attend the Pre-Audition Prep Sessions on Thursday, October 23 & 30
From 5PM - 7PM to be eligible to audition.

Audition Details:
Be prepared to stay for the full 2 hours. Dancers should wear a leotard and tights or a fitted T-shirt and leggings. Bare feet or dance shoes are required.

What to Expect:
Dancers should arrive in appropriate dancewear and bring ballet slippers, jazz shoes, and sneakers. After a group warm-up, dancers will learn and perform 2 to 3 combinations in styles such as Ballet, Hip Hop, African, Modern, or Contemporary. Students will be assessed on how quickly they pick up choreography and how fully they commit to the movement.
*Results will be shared within 2 to 3 weeks.
